I saw this animated story and wanted to share it with you. A little late for a Monday Movie, but I meant well 🙂
My classmate shared this interview with animator Michel Gondry with me after I showed part of the final movie (about Noam Chomsky!) for our animation class. I always find the process stories so interesting. And I hope, for my sake as a designer, you do too.
It’s still Monday in San Francisco! I thought I’d share this cute-but-important PSA that England showed to try to get children to use the internet more safely. It seemed like a thoughtful way to deal with the issue. via FastCompany (check out more there!)
I saw and loved this and I think if you see it, you’d love it too. It’s all of the things that I like together: animals, science facts, and silliness in a well-designed way.

Love & Theft from Studio FILM BILDER on Vimeo. I’m not 100% sure your mind is ready for this animation magic. We watched this in my Time, motion, and communication class and the rest is history. I see something like this and I want to make something hands on and illustrative. Then I remember I don’t…
Beautiful short movie by disney animation artist Glen Keane, who brought the characters of Ariel, the Best, and Aladdin to life. After working on an after effects project this summer I can more deeply appreciate the beauty and talent of his work. I am a little ashamed I saw this first on buzzfeed. But I can’t…
Wide Sky – iOS Game and Experiment from Marcus Eckert on Vimeo. I cannot get enough of this guy’s work! It’s so incredible. Designer/developer/creative extraordinaire. Merging interaction with the beautiful
The Animated Life of A.R. Wallace (Director’s Cut) from Sweet Fern Productions on Vimeo. Did you know Darwin wasn’t the sole founder of natural selection? I didn’t either. Watch and be amazed by this really lovely paper-cut movie. (Found via The Atlantic).
