Because it never hurts to remind yourself.
- I am grateful that I was accepted into Carnegie-Mellon’s master’s in design program. When I’m tell people I’m reminded that it’s a real thing. Especially since I’ve even started looking for apartments. It’s been my dream program for years and I‘m really excited about the opportunity.
- I am grateful for my work. I’ve been working on some really fun projects in New York, even if it’s for current clients. I feel like I’ve learned a lot recently and am working with great causes. I feel extremely lucky that my clients are also happy to work with me and are appreciative of my work. It makes me feel like I could freelance for ever if I truly wanted to.
- I’m grateful for my genuinely extraordinary friends who lead by example.
- I’m grateful that I’m going to attend a lecture by Stefan Sagmeister next week, whose name I can never spell but who I still admire deeply. I’m happy that I’m in a city where this is possible.
- I am grateful for leave-in conditioner. “For that touchable feel.” (—I don’t know if that’s a real phrase, but it sounds like one, doesn’t it?)
