5: More thoughts, a reflection

So don’t freak out, but yet another blog has been born. I’m starting a process blog where I’ll just spew out all the stuff I’m doing in my graduate coursework since 1) we have to track our process and it will be easier for me to do it this way and 2) we are learning so much it would be horrible for you to actually see all the little things I’m doing. Check it out if you want, but I would say you should be pretty ok if you don’t want to because I’m sure it’ll be insanely design focused.

I will still write about grad school year in a more general way, don’t you fret. I think it would be in everyone’s best interest if I curated here more so that no one was excluded. And of course I’ll point you that way if I feel like it.

My Friday 5 is the five questions I asked myself about where I am as a designer that I hope to reflect on during different points in my grad school life.

  1. How do you define yourself now?
  2. What are you interested in?
  3. How do you want to change? / What do you want to learn?
  4. What is interaction design? What is the role of an interaction designer?
  5. What do you want to do?
