Frances Ha – Official Theatrical Trailer from IFC Films on Vimeo.

Such a good month for the eyes 🙂

FEAST FOR THE EYES>>

  • Paradise Lost. John Milton Still chugging along…still barely know what’s happening.
  • Blink. Malcom Gladwell. Love! His book on the psychology of making quick decisions. It was so fascinating as a second-guesser myself. I had to give it to Katie to read immediately. I love how approachable Gladwell makes psychology.
  • The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes & The Hounds of Baskerville. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I thought this would be a dry and hard-to-read as an old British book but I actually really like it. It feels quasi-adolescent, just because all the books follow (understandably) the same narrative arch, but I actually like it quite a bit. It keeps being interesting, I like the some of the tongue-and-cheek phrases that Doyle works in and it gives me to urge to use the expression “upon my word!” — which I 100% anticipate working into conversation sometime this summer.

OVER AND OVER AGAIN>>
